Alan Adams
Alan Adams is Managing Director and Head of Community Banking for The PrivateBank. He is a member of the Executive Committee and is responsible for leading the Company’s Community Banking line of business and mortgage activities, including The PrivateBank Mortgage Company.
Adams most recently served as President of Aon Corporation’s Cananwill Premium Funding group responsible for providing leadership to all functional aspects of the business. Prior to that, Adams was a Merger Integration Leader at JPMorgan Chase following the Bank One Corporation purchase. As the Senior Business Unit Manager, Adams developed, and then led, the CRM platform for Bank One. He also oversaw the Marketing and Marketing Technology groups at First Chicago NBD. Adams began his career with American National Bank where he held a variety of roles in personal and commercial banking, including the development of its community banking strategy.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and MBA from the University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
