Bruce Lubin
Bruce Lubin is Executive Managing Director and President of The PrivateBank’s Illinois Commercial and Specialty Banking Group, as well as the Bank’s Private Wealth group including Private Banking, Wealth Management, and Lodestar, the Bank’s investment management subsidiary. He oversees banking and other related financial services to middle-market commercial and industrial clients in Illinois. In addition, Bruce is responsible for building specialty industry groups within the commercial banking lines of business and ensuring his team works with other PrivateBank business groups to deliver a comprehensive suite of solutions to clients.
Lubin has over 30 years of experience in financial services and joined The PrivateBank in 2007. Previously he was Executive Vice President and head of the Illinois Commercial Banking Group at LaSalle Bank, N.A., which consisted of 37 divisions. He joined The Exchange National Bank of Chicago in February 1984. Prior to that, he worked at American National Bank of Chicago in commercial lending for five years.
Lubin received his bachelor’s degree and MBA from the University of Connecticut. He serves as President of the Board of Stevenson High School District 125, he is on the Board of the Gateway for Cancer Research, the American Jewish Committee, Joffrey Ballet, Chicago, and is a Trustee of the Hillcrest Educational Foundation.
