Leonard Wiatr

Leonard Wiatr is Chief Risk Officer for The PrivateBank and oversees non-credit-related risk management activities including compliance and regulatory affairs, loan review, operational risk management and enterprise risk management. He also is a member of the Executive Committee.

Prior to joining The PrivateBank in March 2008, Wiatr served at ABN AMRO and its subsidiary LaSalle Bank Corp. as Executive Vice President, where his duties included developing and implementing an enterprise-wide Compliance Program. Previously, Wiatr held the role of Examiner-In-Charge for Large Bank Supervision for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. His responsibilities included examining large and mid-size banking institutions and reporting to the Board of Directors on regulatory issues.

Wiatr received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from St. Joseph’s College, in Rensselaer, Indiana, and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Graduate School of Banking, in Madison, Wisconsin.
