Robert Holmes
Robert Holmes is Managing Director and Head of Western Regional Banking for The PrivateBank, based in the St. Louis office. He is responsible for providing leadership to all functional aspects of the business, including personal and commercial banking, commercial real estate, treasury management, capital markets, wealth management and private banking for the St. Louis, Kansas City, Denver and Des Moines locations.
Holmes previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer, Executive Vice President and Director for First Bank. Prior to that, he held the role of Group Senior Vice President, Regional Commercial Banking Group at LaSalle Bank N.A. In his time at LaSalle, Holmes also served as Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, Commercial Banking Division and Senior Vice President and Region Head, St. Louis. He began his career with The Boatman’s National Bank of St. Louis.
Holmes received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia and his MBA from St. Louis University. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Sherwood Forest Camp organization.
