Elizabeth (Bess) Cummings

Elizabeth Cummings is Managing Director and Chief Information Officer for The PrivateBank. She is a member of the Executive Committee and is responsible for overseeing corporate technology and operational, facilities management and security infrastructures.

Cummings previously served at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as Senior Vice President, Global Client Service and Implementation, responsible for closing product and process gaps resulting from merger activities. Prior to that, she held the role of Senior Vice President, Client Service and Technology & Operations at Bank One Corp. Cummings began her career with First Chicago NBD, serving in a variety of roles over a 15 year span.

Cummings received her bachelor’s degree in information systems from Elmhurst College, in Elmhurst Illinois and her MBA from the Illinois Institute of Technology, in Chicago, Illinois.
