Jeffrey Steele

Jeffrey Steele is Managing Director at The PrivateBank and oversees the Healthcare speciality banking group as well as the suburban Chicago banking offices. 

Steele has more than 25 years experience in middle market lending with a special emphasis on the Healthcare sector, specifically Skilled Nursing /Assisted Living and Senior Housing. Additionally, he has worked with many middle market companies and private equity sponsors in the financing of acquisitions, with a select number focusing on the healthcare services and products . Prior to joining The PrivateBank, Steele served as Group Senior Vice President in charge of Healthcare for LaSalle Bank in Chicago.

Steele is a Member of the American Senior Housing Association and a past presenter at its National Investment Conference. He is a Trustee for the Shedd Aquarium and Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart.  He holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Indiana University, and is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking .
