Robert Frentzel

Robert Frentzel is Managing Director, Specialized Industries, at The PrivateBank and oversees the Construction & Engineering banking group. Prior to joining The PrivateBank, Frentzel worked at LaSalle Bank for 12 years and was responsible for building and managing many of its specialty commercial lending divisions, including: Construction & Engineering, Education, Environmental, Food & Agribusiness, Insurance, Power & Energy, Security Alarm, and Surface Transportation. Frentzel began his career at Harris Bank, where he worked for eight years in business development and commercial lending.

Frentzel serves on the Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago, and on the Advisory Boards of Leadership Greater Chicago, Illinois Road and Transportation Builders Association and the Construction Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He holds a bachelor's degree in Finance, Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and MBA in Finance and Marketing, J.L. Kellogg School of Management, Chicago.
